Our Heart and Mission

Raising Brilliance was born from a journey of faith, resilience, and unconditional love. We are Glenn and April O’Steen—parents, advocates, educators, and believers that every child carries a unique light placed within them by God. Through the challenges of autism, education, and life’s unexpected seasons, we discovered that brilliance often shines brightest in the midst of the storm.

Our mission is to walk alongside families navigating autism advocacy, giftedness, IEP support, 504 plans, and the complexities of the school system by providing encouragement, advocacy, practical resources, and faith-centered support.

Why Raising Brilliance?

At Raising Brilliance, we believe every child is wonderfully created with purpose, value, and potential. Some children communicate differently, learn differently, or experience the world differently—but that difference is not a limitation. It is part of the beauty of who they were created to be.

The name “Raising Brilliance” reflects both our calling and our hope: to raise children with love, compassion, and confidence while helping families recognize and nurture the brilliance already inside them.

Through parent coaching, advocacy coaching, educational resources, devotionals, community encouragement, and personal stories, our heart is to:
